What is Zkittlez OG?
Zkittlez OG joins two of the best-known names in modern cannabis. Zkittlez, bred in Northern California from a Grape Ape × Grapefruit base, won first place at the 2016 Emerald Cup and made candy aromas a category of their own. OG Kush is the Los Angeles classic behind most of today's gas strains.
The autoflowering version uses an auto OG Kush parent, so the plant flowers on its own without a change in light schedule. The goal is the sweet candy of Zkittlez with the fuel and pine of OG, in a short cycle.
For seed shops, it covers two search terms at once, "Zkittlez" and "OG", and gives candy fans a gassier choice.
Aroma and terpene profile
Our lot shows rainbow candy on top, sweet and fruity, over deep pine and fuel from the OG side. Zkittlez lines usually test beta-caryophyllene-led with linalool and humulene, while OG Kush brings myrcene and limonene. The balance shifts by phenotype: some plants lean candy, others lean pine-fuel.
When you list Zkittlez OG in your own shop, name both parents in the first line. Customers search for "Zkittlez" and for "OG" separately, and a listing that shows both terms ranks for both. Describe the profile as candy on top and pine-fuel underneath, and note that the balance can vary from plant to plant.
Plant traits
- Type: balanced hybrid, autoflowering
- Lineage: Zkittlez × OG Kush (auto)
- Seed to harvest: about 10–11 weeks
- Structure: medium height, about 100–130 cm indoors, with a dense central cola
- Flowers: compact, resinous buds with a candy-and-fuel aroma
Growing notes for the autoflowering line. Autoflowering plants switch to bloom on their own after a few weeks of growth, whatever the light schedule. Indoors, most growers run 18 or 20 hours of light from seed to harvest. Because the vegetative phase is short, autos are usually sown straight into their final pot and trained only lightly, since heavy topping or transplant stress leaves little time to recover. Outdoors in Southern Europe, several runs per season are possible from spring to early autumn. For a shop, this is the easiest format to recommend to first-time and balcony growers.
Figures are breeder and grower references, not guarantees. Results depend on the environment and handling.
