What is Larry Bird?
Larry Bird is a feminized hybrid named after the Boston basketball great, in the US tradition of naming strains after sports figures. The name is short, easy to remember and stands out on a menu, which is why it travels well from shop shelf to word of mouth.
Our Larry Bird lot is defined by its aroma rather than by a famous pedigree: sweet grape, cool mint and creamy pine. That combination is uncommon. Grape strains usually lean toward candy or wine, and mint strains toward cookies or gas. Larry Bird brings grape and mint together on a soft, creamy base.
Aroma and terpene profile
Our Larry Bird lot is described as sweet grape, mint and creamy pine. The grape note comes first, sweet and round. The mint follows as a cool lift, and pine with a creamy edge closes the profile.
Profiles like this are usually built on myrcene for the ripe fruit, pinene for the pine, and beta-caryophyllene or limonene for spice and lift. Treat this as a general guide: we do not publish a lab terpene profile for this lot.
